Description:

• Looking for a junior candidate with experience in our field (or related field ie: Personal Care/Paint/food) would make the workload much easier.

• Experience in stabilities, batching of cosmetics or related field.

  Personality:

• Attention to detail/observant, clear communication, leans toward optimization and efficiency, autonomous, accuracy in collating data, focused, lab experienced, willing to take on new techniques and tools, positive attitude.

  Skills Required:

• Skills required include an associates or bachelors degree in the physical sciences, technical research experience in a laboratory setting, proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point, and clear communication skills.

• Familiarity with formulations (surfactant and thickener systems) is a plus, as is familiarity with proper maintenance and upkeep for any laboratory equipment.

• Must be organized and have worked in a lab environment.

• Working with batching/weighing/lab notebooks.

• Autonomous working and have good background in math/science

  Responsibilities:

• Assist Design of Experiments to analyze the stability, aspect, viscosity, and in-vitro experiments

• Develop simplex and full formulas for Facial products

• Prepare and deliver testing samples on time to support internal/external collaboration.

• Maintain precise experimental records.

• Maintain stability records.

• Great deal of record keeping with use of Microsoft office.

• Assistance in lab logistics

• Experience with pH, Microscopy, Viscometer/Rheometer, Foam analyzer. As a point of differentiation is a plus but not necessary.

• Familiarity with batching equipment a plus – Olsa, disconti, silverson As a point of differentiation is a plus but not necessary.
