The Arc Oneida-Lewis Chapter Budget Coordinator in Utica, New York
The Arc, Oneida-Lewis Chapter is seeking the addition of a Fiscal Intermediary Coordinator to our Self Direction Department! In this position you will support a participant who self directs an individualized budget. The Fiscal Intermediary Coordinator is the employer of record for staff hired by the participant. T his position will ensure all services are provided in accordance with the individual's needs and approved OPWDD budget.
Responsibilities:
Provide oversight and supervision of multiple individualized Self-Direction programs to ensure:
the development Staff Action Plans and Self-Direction Budgets occur according to regulatory requirements
systematic reviews occur for all Staff Action Plans and Self Direction Budgets
staff participation in Circle of Support Meetings
all required billing documentation related to service delivery is reviewed for accuracy and timeliness in submission to the Finance Department
all records and documentation is maintained in accordance with Agency or regulatory requirements
Ensure and maintain adequate systems relative to funds management and documentation per Agency or regulatory requirements
Maintain effective and ongoing communication with families, friends, staff, other service providers, etc.
Review proposed budget amendments for corporate compliance and fiscal responsibility and once approved by OPWDD, administer and maintain amended budgets by approving or rejecting program expenditures, processing expenditures in a timely manner, and recording and monitoring expenditures
Ensure that services are provided and documented in accordance with each Self-Direction Budget, Life Plan, and Staff Action Plan and that necessary budget amendments are made in a timely manner
Provide support to individuals and/or families relative to their supervisory functions in managing their self-hired staff
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED and experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities
Valid NYS Driver's License
