The Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University seeks a part-time instructor to teach GEO 326, The Geography of Climate and Weather, as an online synchronous/asynchronous course through the College of Professional Studies during the Fall 2024 Eight Week Session, August 26- October 17, 2024 (3 credits).

Course Description: This class will investigate how Earth balances its energy, momentum, and mass by transporting them all over the world. We will study these transports in meridional, zonal and vertical aspects. Then we will evaluate the evidence of climate change, organize the drivers of climate change, explore climate modeling, and discuss the impacts of climate change. Note: federal or international polices will NOT be covered in this class.
