Community Habilitation Manager Reports to: Director of Community Living Supervises: LIFE Counselors-DSPs Location: 414 Kirkpatrick Street, Syracuse NY Full Time: Including evenings and weekends, as needed Non-Exempt: $18-$20 per hour

About the Role We are looking for a proactive employee to provide strategic direction and implement the community habilitation program.

Responsibilities include: Budgeting and fiscal viability of programs Attending Life Plan meetings and writing Staff Action Plans Coordinating program intakes Conducting and documenting routine internal audits around all supervised programs Full cycle recruiting for all program staff

Education & Experience Bachelors degree in Human Services or management related course study field, preferred. 3 years experience working with people with disabilities, preferred. Experience in: OPWDD and Medicaid Regulations and/or other applicable federal/state laws, measuring outcomes of projects, and government mandated regulations.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required skills include: outstanding written and verbal communication, effective project management, time management, ability to prioritize critical projects and evaluate cost and benefits, ability to develop constructive and cooperative working relationships, technology skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, knowledge of web-based data base systems for management of client needs, be open to change and considerable variety in daily work activities.
