Together, Momentive Technologies and our customers are reshaping the world. ECT Furnace Room Utility Worker The Furnace Utility Workers responsibility is to support all furnace room activities. The Furnace Utility Worker takes direction from the Furnace Room Supervisor, Crew Chiefs, and the Manufacturing Engineers. They will work in the furnace room and A&D, as needed. The Furnace Utility Worker will support all furnace room activities and during certain times, receive operator specific training. Responsibilities Furnace tear down and rebuild as part of regular PMs and conversions Maintenance of furnace internals including element and insulation Cleaning and organizing of furnace room space Prepare furnaces for runs (flushing, changing blower oil, leak checking, switching over, etc.) Load furnaces per shop order load design instructions Unload and clean furnaces and clean setup parts Quenchingcleaningstaging plate load components Build loads both at the furnace and in A&D as required Change gas cylinders and receive chemical deliveries Complete operator specific training on how to run a CVD vacuum furnace per the documented JTA procedures and per the recipes detailed by the manufacturing engineers on the shop orders. Must be respirator qualified and complete Hazmat training which includes using Level A suit. May be required to perform other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Required Willing and able to work with flexible schedule, which includes all shifts and weekends. Must be able to utilize Microsoft Office, Outlook email. Must be able to bend, stoop, twist, crouch, squat, kneel, & climb. Must be able to work in an environment where electromagnetic fields are always present. Must be able and medically approved to wear a tight-fitting respirator or Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR) when required. Preferred Qualifications: 3 years manufacturing experience Experience with SAP ERP System Able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. and push/pull up to 500 lbs.
