WHAT WE BELIEVE IN NKF s Mission is what we do, our Values are how we do it. * Accountability- Earn and Keep Trust * Collaboration-Work as a team * Communication- Empower with information * Community-Build stronger community * Compassion- Lead with care and respect * Impact-Focus on the mission Your Voice Matters: https://www.kidney.org/about/diversity-equity-inclusion WHAT YOU LL DO * Coordinates NKF s involvement in the community outreach events to raise awareness about kidney disease & share NKF resources. * Oversees community-based programs including Kidney Kids Day, Drive for Dialysis, Donate Life Day with the MN Twins. * Executes assigned components for fundraising events including assisting with data entry and logistics. * Executes assigned projects for the implementation of programs that include community-based screenings and education programs. * Recruits, onboards and coordinates volunteers for both fundraising and programmatic activities and organizing volunteer appreciation efforts. * Oversees World Kidney Day/National Kidney Month activities. * Process all contributions for the office utilizing various databases to manage record keeping including Salesforce, Rallybound and Classy. * Executes social media and media relations as well as managing the creation, distribution and results analysis for e-blasts and quarterly e-newsletters. * Updates local website to reflect all current activities, events and information. * Performs additional duties and special projects, as required. WHAT YOU LL POSSESS * Bachelor s degree from an accredited college or university. * Minimum 2 years of job-related experience. * Experience in a health care field or with a voluntary health organization is preferred. * Experience generating social media content. * Prior experience coordinating special events and programs. * Excellent written and oral communication skills. * Superior interpersonal, time management and organizational skills. * Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and function independently and as part of a team. * Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Proficient in Microsoft applications. * Must be flexible for overnight travel with reliable transportation. * Flexible to work evenings and weekends as needed. WORKING CONDITIONS, EQUIPMENT USED AND SPECIAL INFORMATION Must have unimpeachable integrity and trustworthiness while possessing a high degree of tact, discretion, and professionalism. Verbal and written communication skills will be used daily. Maintain effectiveness under pressure. Competency in use of a multiple-line telephone, computer, photocopier, and other standard office equipment. Ability to lift and transport equipment weighing up to 25 lbs. Flexible to work evenings and weekends as needed. Available for overnight business travel. Must have a valid driver s license.
