This role is part of Enterprise Technology (ET), where we're developing the digital infrastructure needed to build the road to space, with an emphasis on digital capabilities required to advance Blue Origin's mission. Enterprise Technology is the center of excellence for digital technology at Blue Origin, providing oversight and governance to align technology and business strategies. You will be a member of the Enterprise Technology Infrastructure and Operations team, which is focused on cloud management, datacenter operations, identity and access, PKI, email, storage, backups, and privileged access management. As part of a diverse and hardworking team of experts, you will lead and contribute to supporting Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, MFA, O365, identity and privileged access technologies. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, contributing to innovative solutions, while demonstrating personal leadership, technical competence, and attention to detail. Expect 20-30% of your time to be for personnel/team management (hiring, performance reviews, mentoring, etc.) while the other 70-80% will be as an expert individual contributor to the Infrastructure and Operations team responsibilities. Qualifications: B.S. in information technology, computer science, or equivalent practical experience 2+ years of experience managing technical teams and/or leading functional groups, with responsibility for technical quality of work delivered and career management of employees 10+ years of experience working in information technology system administration & engineering Excellent system administration and configuration management skills, with knowledge and experience in security, identity, and automation Diverse background in all aspects of information technology Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion. Desired: Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive. Project planning and project management experience Experience with modern authentication, security principals, Exchange, Intune, PAM, and scripting languages Experience with PKI, AWS, Azure, and cloud solutions Prior experience leading small, dynamic teams, driving innovation while maintaining operational excellence Compensation range for on site WA applicants is $130,500-$182,700 Compensation range for on site CA applicants is $130,500-$182,700 Other site ranges may differ Inclusivity Statement Don't meet all desired requirements?
