TEKsystems is seeking a Desktop Support Field Technician for one of our clients in the San Francisco, CA area. Ideal candidates will have at least two years of hands on desktop support experience in the field. This position will support locations in San Francisco and Sacramento, CA. Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Diagnoses problems and fully supports (installs, troubleshoots, configures and repairs) a variety of internal and third-party applications and hardware for client workstations in both the office and manufacturing environments( new PC builds from time to time)

• Assists with the new system set up throughout the campus as required

• Addresses and resolves hardware, software, and customer issues

• Performs preventive maintenance, tests and repairs equipment

• Responsible for imaging and software installs on end-user devices.

• Identifies network issues as it relates to the end-user device

• Provide testing applications, service packs, and patches prior to corporate-wide release (SCCM)

• Provides positive customer experience with each customer interaction

Candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting PCs, hardware, software, printer, video conferencing equipment, and phone systems. Candidate will also work on project support work including Office 365 and VoIP migration. They will also troubleshoot hardware issues hands on and provision, image PCs for new users. The environment has approximately 1000 end users.
