Summary of Role:

The Sr. Inventory Planner will be the voice of SunPower’s customers to our supplier partners. As the bridge between SunPower headquarters and OEM partners, the candidate will develop, communicate, and execute end-to-end product demand and supply plans across all channels of distribution for a current or future product line. This role will work with Sales, Sales Operations, Product Management, Finance and Procurement.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Be the supply and demand representative for our OEM partners for forecast, inventory, and multi-channel sell through analysis to bridge business objectives to operational supply chain management.

  • Drive the weekly and quarterly supply plans that achieve SunPower’s financial objectives. Evaluate risks, develop and implement contingency plans to mitigate.

  • Be a part of the global process to define the launch strategy including launch target and execution plan for new product introductions balancing NPI end-to-end planning for product transitions.

  • Partner with the material and global procurement teams to allocate constrained components to balance SunPower financial objectives and customer service goals.

  • Coordinate with OEM and SunPower Operations/Logistics teams to ensure flawless execution to serve a world-class customer experience.

  • Define and implement OEM key performance measurement metrics and drive continuous improvements in quality, timeliness and completeness.

  • Lead product and business review and recommended actions to SunPower Procurement leader on a weekly basis.

Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS or equivalent work experience will be considered. APICS is a plus.

  • Strong Excel skills

  • Broad knowledge of ERP and supply chain tools such as Oracle, SAP, Logility

  • Candidate should be comfortable presenting to senior management.

  • In this role, the candidate will combine a working understanding of best-in-class supply chain practices, strong problem-solving capabilities and business acumen.

  • Ability to troubleshoot and root cause results from data. Experience in crafting and using BI applications such as SAP BO, Power BI.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly complex and constantly evolving business environment that may require frequent re-assessment and benchmarking of priorities against objectives.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Sales & Operations with supply and demand planning is strongly preferred.

Please note the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for this position only and in the geographical location noted. The base pay for this position ranges from $111,500/year to $167,200/year. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Dependent on the position offered, other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package including annual bonus eligibility, short and long-term incentives, and a comprehensive and competitive benefits program which includes health insurance coverage, employee wellness, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, paid time off, and so much more.
