We are hiring a Digital Delivery VDC Lead in Manassas, VA. This role requires the candidate to plan, configure, implement, and support digital delivery and BIM needs on projects. Candidate will be part of the local DDL (Digital Delivery Lead) team where the office lead shares ongoing work, innovations, and expertise. Work will be performed under the supervision of the office and onsite project manager. This is a support role focused on project VDC requirements and with an emphasis on supporting the larger organizational need for innovation and process transformation.

As an on-site Digital Delivery VDC Lead, you will be expected to perform the following:

· Assist project teams with review and issue tracking of BIM within Navisworks and Autodesk BIM360/ACC

· Perform some QA/QC on design and construction models

· Maintain integrated BIM, run clash detection reports and maintain issues log

· Work with a Design and Construction staff to ensure designers are producing clash-free designs

· Participate in Design Review and Clash Resolution meetings

· Work closely with and ability to represent the PM at high profile meetings

Here’s what you’ll need :

· At least 3 years of professional BIM/VDC experience

· Proficiency with Navisworks or BIM360 Model Coordination Service, including the ability to setup clash reports, rules and selection sets

· Occasional need to troubleshoot software issues, and learn new software tools

· Ability to utilize Point Cloud scan files, and perform comparisons, measurements, and identify corrective actions required in design models

· Experience creating client clash reports and other deliverables

· Understand project workflows from design, estimation, construction administration and coordination, and fabrication preferred

· Proficiency with editing software (Bluebeam, Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.) and visualization software (Adobe Suite and Rendering plug-ins, such as Enscape)

· Excellent organization, documentation, and communication skills

· Ability to anticipate, identify and resolve problems in a timely and positive manner

· Ability to work independently, and to manage multiple tasks and projects under constant deadlines

· Ability to receive guidance and direction from peers within the local office

· Willingness to work on-site in Manassas, VA

Ideally, you will also have:

· Associates or Bachelors’ degree in Science, Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management (or at least 5 years of industry experience in lieu of a degree)

· Digital Delivery (BIM/VDC) experience leveraging and managing technology in facility design and construction

· Familiarity with AR technology such as HoloLens

· Ability to provide Navisworks and other design software training

· Ability to develop technical information and presentation material for response to RFIs

· Ability to research and stay current on BIM related software and technologies

· Ability to participate in user group meetings for BIM related software
