JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: The Manager of Data Reporting and Analytics will be responsible for leading the team charged with supporting the analytic portfolio of tools produced for various administrative and education areas in the UW School of Medicine and Public Health (SMPH). This position is part of the Data Reporting and Analytics team in the SMPH Informatics and IT group, providing key data analysis and reporting to senior leadership, students, and other stakeholders across SMPH. The position will have supervisory responsibility for the Data Reporting and Analytics team and reports to the Director, Business Analytics for SMPH. Strong candidates for this role will have good leadership skills, a love of learning, and an ability to develop relationships across reporting lines. Excellent candidates will be able to adapt their communication style for collaboration with technical colleagues, diverse subject matter experts, and leadership, and are excited by supporting better outcomes for our stakeholders. Responsibilities: Provides and develops operational oversight of information technology (IT) function(s), program(s), or service(s) to support organizational and employee technology needs. 20% Develops, plans, and directs staff implementation of information technology 20% Evaluates existing strategy and makes recommendations to information technology leadership for program enhancement 20% Identifies, proposes, and implements new or revised information technology operational policies and procedures 5% Serves as the subject matter expert to unit leadership regarding information technology operations and functions 15% Exercises supervisory authority, including hiring, transferring, suspending, promoting, managing conduct and performance, discharging, assigning, rewarding, disciplining, and/or approving hours worked of at least 2.0 full-time equivalent (FTE) employees 10% Technical owner for all analytics solutions created by the academic and administrative analytics team 5% Establishes and maintains good communication and collaboration with stakeholders for defining, implementing, and supporting analytics solutions 5% Establishes and maintains effective working...
