We are looking for a Technical Product Owner.

As a Technical Product Owner, you will be at the forefront of our product development efforts, playing a pivotal role in shaping the direction of our technical solutions. You will serve as the bridge between our technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring that our products meet both functional requirements and technical standards. By leveraging your expertise in product management and technical acumen, you will drive the successful delivery of innovative and high-quality solutions that address the evolving needs of our customers.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, electrical engineers, designers, order managers, shop-floor experts, global operation teams to deliver impactful products that drive business value. You will be responsible for defining and prioritizing the product backlog, guiding development efforts, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Product Backlog Management:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, align product roadmap to strategic goals, translate them into clear user stories and acceptance criteria with a clear definition-of-done concept.

• Plan and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, technical feasibility, and other relevant factors.

• Maintain and groom the backlog, ensuring that it accurately reflects the evolving needs of the business and stakeholders.

  1. Technical Leadership:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for technical teams, providing guidance and clarification on product requirements.

• Work closely with development teams to ensure the feasibility of change requests in terms of technical and cybersecurity constraints.

• Make informed decisions on technical trade-offs and prioritize technical debt alongside new feature development.

  1. Stakeholder Communication:

• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, development teams, and other relevant parties, providing regular updates on project status and progress.

• Facilitate communication and collaboration between cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on product goals and priorities.

• Solicit feedback from stakeholders and incorporate it into the product backlog as appropriate.

  1. Product Vision and Strategy:

• Contribute to the development of the product vision and strategy, aligning technical initiatives with broader business objectives.

• Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.

• Advocate for the adoption of best practices in product management and agile development methodologies.

  1. Continuous Improvement and Reporting:

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the product development process, seeking opportunities to streamline workflows, increase efficiency, and enhance quality.

• Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and accountability within the team and across the organization.

• Proactively identify and address any obstacles or bottlenecks that may impede progress towards project goals.

• Report the results regularly with the management including calculation of time-effort analysis, productivity increase and time reduction.

• Seek opportunities to increase efficiency of the product by creating KPIs of usage, analyze and act accordingly.

You’ll win us over by:

• Completed degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience in a technical product owner role or similar within a software development environment for at least 2-3 years.

• Having Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and tools, such as Scrum, Kanban and JIRA/Confluence.

• Having Proficiency in writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and maintaining technical documentation by taking cybersecurity regulations into account.

• Having Strong stakeholder management.

• Having Persuasive communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

Optional Skills:

• Experienced in Discrete Manufacturing is an additional advantage

• Having Worked as PO or Architect on Cloud (AWS or Azure) and IoT based platform projects.

• Understanding of UX and usability with 360 degree user/customer perspective.

• Advanced technical skills or knowledge in specific areas relevant to the product, such as AI, machine learning.

• Experience in facilitating workshops or training sessions.
