Our Kansas City, MO Terminal is hiring immediately for a Dock Supervisor, Warehouse manager.

Responsibilities:

• $72,500 Starting salary

• Monday-Friday

• Plans, directs, coordinates and controls the freight operations of an agent and/or company terminal with company objectives for-profit services. Specifically involved in line haul loading and management within in the scope of operations as assigned by Region Operations level or above.

• Direct all management functions in the scope of operations assigned. Coordinates the work of operations activities by oversees company business in such areas as: pickup and delivery operations, dock operations, night operations, inbound and outbound road operations, company office and equipment maintenance.

• Initiates, compiles and disseminates information and statistics relative to the operational problems and costs within the scope of operations assigned.

• Selects and recommends personnel for various positions and trains assigned personnel to become knowledgeable and understand Midwest system of operation, according to the position applied for.

• Responsibilities include manpower planning and employment (labor cost control - cost performance per man hour). Provides continuous training to their own people within the terminal or within their field of duty.

• Formulates policies, programs, and procedures for Midwest's transportation system including schedules, routes, assignment of drivers, vehicles and other company operations.

• Various other duties as assigned.

• 4 year college degree or equivalent LTL work experience(Including Driving, Dock, or other supervisory experince)

• 2+ years transportation experience in supervisor or above capacity

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Computer skills - AS400 experience, email, Excel, data entry, etc.
