The role at a glance:

This position will involve overseeing invoice and payment processing in a timely manner, as well as contributing to process improvement and documentation. This role would have 2-6 direct reports.

What you'll be doing:

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Trains and oversees employees involved in payment and invoice processing.

• Directs assigned tasks and assists as needed.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Oversees reports regarding cash flow; ensures payments are made in a timely manner.

• Review payment batches before they are released

• Serve as an escalation path for vendors and internal customers to resolve accounts payable-related issues.

• Review and adjust workload allocation to ensure timely processing of invoices and payments.

• Ensures proper maintenance, filing, and storage of records in case of audits.

• Receives, researches, and resolves a variety of routine internal inquiries about account string charges.

• Lead the application and posting of invoices and payments relating to bank-drafted payments.

• Handles all Fintech invoices and payments.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

What we're looking for:

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

• Thorough understanding of accounts payable functions.

• Excellent supervisory and analytical skills.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to motivate staff.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED, Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred

• 3 or more years of general accounting experience
