Maintenance Supervisor
1st Shift
This full-time, non-exempt position, reporting directly to the Senior Production Manager, requires exceptional leadership skills and technical expertise. Operating during standard hours from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, this role encompasses the maintenance and repair of equipment across Production areas. Beyond technical proficiency, this position entails supervisory responsibilities, ensuring seamless operations and fostering a culture of safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities
Implementing preventive maintenance and repair procedures according to company standards, overseeing documentation and adherence to protocols.
Supervising Maintenance Technicians in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment, as well as managing wastewater and roll grinding operations.
Cultivating a collaborative and productive work environment to enhance team performance and morale.
Facilitating the training and development of maintenance personnel, promoting continuous learning and skill improvement.
Overseeing adjustments to plant equipment to ensure optimum performance and safety.
Leading preventive maintenance efforts to maintain the reliability of production equipment.
Conducting "in-shop" repairs, including welding, machining, and related tasks, while guiding and assisting maintenance staff.
Identifying complex electrical, mechanical, and plumbing issues and coordinating appropriate corrective actions.
Collaborating closely with production teams to execute tasks efficiently and safely.
Ensuring strict compliance with regulatory safety requirements, including OSHA standards.
Procuring spare and replacement parts and materials as necessary.
Performing all duties while adhering to regulatory safety requirements, such as OSHA standards.
Consistently utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and understanding Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
