Job Description

The selected candidate will be responsible for filling the role of Program Financial Analyst I, supporting Materiel Solutions (MS) projects in Fort Walton Beach, FL & Rome, NY.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Monitors and reports costs and schedules for contracts within MS; participate in the tracking, analysis, and reporting of projects of varying contract type, size, complexity, and level of risk.

• The candidate must have good communication skills as the position will have significant interaction with Finance Manager, Project Managers, and many other functional organizations.

• Develop cost and financial reports to support government contract and internal business reporting requirements

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Program Start-Up, Program Maintenance, Program Close-Out, Performance Analysis, Time and Labor Recording, Reporting, and Analysis, Subcontractor Maintenance, Monthly Financial Close, and Customer Reporting

• Interface with Program Management and Finance in the development of Annual Plans and Quarterly Forecasts including risk and opportunity analysis for consolidation in Business Area and Sector strategic planning

• A broad knowledge of accounting, billing, and finance would greatly benefit the performance of these duties

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Bachelor s degree in finance, business admin, or related major; or Associate s degree in finance / business admin, or related major and 2 years experience; or High School Diploma and 4 years

• Computer competency with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

• Problem solving and in-depth research and analytical skills; must be detail oriented with meticulous record-keeping skills

• Good interpersonal and communication skills used to interface with program management and financial analysts

• Effective communication including written, verbal, non-verbal, and using remote audio/video communication software

• Multi-tasking and time management skills essential for success in this position

• Ability to perform under direct guidance and achieve job objectives with a significant degree of independence, deadline driven

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $43920 - $74700
