Lunar Permanence: This role is part of the Lunar Permanence business unit, which develops Blue Origin's multiple Blue Moon lander product lines. To further Blue Origin's mission of having millions of people living and working in space, we are building a sustainable infrastructure to transport crew and cargo from Earth to the lunar surface.

As a System Engineer on the Lunar Permanence Program Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) Requirements, Verification, and Certification (RVC) team you will be responsible for SE&I tasks associated with certifying the Human-class Delivery Lander (HDL). The cargo lander is an enabling element in the overall architecture to provide science and operations payloads and cargo for crew on the surface. You will work directly with Blue Origin LP elements, our National Team Partners, and NASA. You will play a key role in developing the lunar transportation system that will return humans to the Moon and extend human presence permanently beyond the bounds of Earth.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Author requirements to address both customer and Blue Origin needs for the Mk2 Lunar lander program Define interfaces between systems and elements Develop program-level verification and validation activity definition including system-level verification and validation events and integration of element-level events Develop system-level verification closure products including preparation of Detailed Validation Objectives and Validation Closure Notices Work with multiple partners to define system-level interfaces that cross element boundaries Track metrics against requirements, verification, and certification products Perform technical work and provide technical leadership of the highest caliber.
