Financial Analyst I – Corporate FP&A
Omnicell is currently seeking a Financial Analyst to join the Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis team to support monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, ad-hoc analysis, and other FP&A responsibilities. This role will be highly visible to key functional leaders and will report to the Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis. The role will have the following responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
Partner and collaborate with functional leaders to develop annual plans, monthly forecasts, and to support strategic initiatives within the functional unit
Support financial analysis of spending related to General & Administrative functions including variances to plan, variances to forecast, and any risks or opportunities
Develop and maintain accurate headcount reporting
Track, analyze, and report on key metrics of the business
Identify and recommend improvements to drive financial performance
Prepare presentations for senior management
Partner with accounting group on a monthly and quarterly basis to ensure accurate recording of accruals in accordance with GAAP
Research and recommend new processes or improvements to current processes
Engage in ad-hoc analysis/special projects
Required Knowledge/Skills:
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel & PowerPoint
Self-starter with a positive attitude and readiness to challenge
Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working with ERP/financial reporting/forecasting systems (such as Oracle Hyperion and SAP)
