The AWS Americas Industry team is looking for an “experienced” Medical Devices Industry Leader to join our fast-paced team to work with our strategic partners to lead and execute AWS Healthcare & Life Sciences (HCLS) Medical Devices business with partners, and drive joint GTM strategy, and help Medical Devices customers solve their business problems. As the Head of Medical Devices for Americas, you will be owning & managing the Medical Devices Partner business for Americas HCLS segment. Additional responsibilities include Medical Devices Industry partner pipeline management, contributing to the Medical Devices partner ecosystem strategy, managing strategic relationships with influential Technology (ISV), Consulting (G/SI), and driving CXO-level relationships with Medical Devices customers, and partners.

You will possess the deep understanding “and” experience in Medical Devices from either a medical device manufacturer, distribution (track & trace), AI enabled proactive maintenance perspective, and/or actual use of medical devices in connected care, remote monitoring etc. You have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions, in complex situations. The position also requires a strong technical acumen, along with working knowledge of the HCLS Medical Devices consulting services landscape. You will be an expert in running a business, as well as technically savvy enough to drive innovation, ease in doing business, and top and bottom-line revenue growth. You should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about new business models, solution selling, and partner engagement to help build and convey compelling value propositions for AWS customers through AWS Partners. You should also have a proven track record of influencing innovation through partners with prior solution and program successes. Key job responsibilities

Executing the Global HCLS Partner strategic plan for AMER which includes aligning with partner development managers and account managers who manage our top AWS technology and consulting companies.

Be part of the AMER Industry Team to drive the overall global AWS HCLS partner strategy to our internal and external stakeholders including the AWS sales teams, partner sales, as well as media coverage and industry events.

Build C-level relationships with our top Medical Devices customers, and partners.

Execute go-to-market and routes-to-market plans that have clear and measurable ROI.

Represent the AWS HCLS partner strategy internally and externally including presenting at Executive Briefings and Conferences.

Prioritize AWS investment in partners who focus on HCLS, including leading startups, consulting companies, and established ISV/SaaS technology vendors.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience

  • 5+ years of professional or military experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level

  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations

  • Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $118,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
