Position Summary

Support and continuously enhance inventory management systems and reporting to enable the Inventory Management department to achieve yearly goals. Leverage technical and business knowledge to provide robust, repeatable, accurate solutions.

Position Description

  • Provide basic support for inventory management systems covering E3/AWR forecasting and replenishment system, mainframe purchasing system, web-based portals and any other applications used by inventory planners and management. Support includes working with IT to ensure system availability, handling large scale parameter analysis and updates, and answering user questions.

  • Provide basic analytical decision support and assistance to all Inventory Management staff using appropriate reporting and data access tools.

  • Work with inventory planners and management to identify and implement continuous improvements that leverage technology and office automation. Provide project support as required by the business.

  • Assist with system requirements sessions, requirements documentation, test scenario creation and testing execution for IT systems projects.

  • Serve as primary support for daily reports and inbox of daily ad hoc reporting and system update requests.

Position Qualifications

Minimum Type and Years of Related Experience Required:

  • Up to one year of related experience required

  • Experience with inventory planning/replenishment systems

  • Experience working in databases

  • Experinece in using SQL is preferable

  • Experienced in Excel

  • Retail, Supply Chain, Technology and Wholesale experience required

Minimum Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or Operations Management or equivalent work experience
