Hord Farms is a diversified farming operation in North-Central Ohio currently farming 8,685 acres of corn, beans, wheat, and barley, in addition to raising pigs and cattle.  Our Hord Elevator division is seeking to add a full-time feed mill operator to our afternoon-shift team.  

[A Day In the Life:]{.underline}

• Operate corn roller mills, ensuring the proper setting and testing for accuracy
• Oversee the computer operation of the feed mill on the afternoon shift, following all procedures to properly sequence orders to be mixed
• Keep ingredients available for feed production, including restocking of bagged and toted products
• Unload bulk ingredients through our elevator dump system
• Load tractor/trailers for delivery 
• Assist with preventative maintenance on all equipment per provided schedules
• Assist in housekeeping duties to ensure the mill remains clean

[What You Need:]{.underline}

• Ambition and the drive for excellence
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Experience driving pickup trucks, forklifts, tractors, and other basic machinery
• Experience with equipment repair and maintenance
• Basic knowledge of Excel and e-mail
• Self-motivation and ability to remain productive when unsupervised
• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 55 lbs. and climb in excess of 150 ft. and work in all types of weather
• No daily exposure to non-Hord pigs
