  • Hybrid-Remote Position: Must reside in the Nashville, TN market

  • On-site: Mon, Wed, and Thurs. | Remote: Tues and Fridays

As the Manager of Analytics and Reporting , you will be responsible for driving improvement in business efficiency by using clinical, operational, and financial data. In this role, you will directly manage a team that designs analytical tools, completes analysis, develops conclusions and makes recommendations to improve care and reduce risks in collaboration with subject matter experts. You will participate in the development and execution of the department’s business intelligence strategy as well as working with other analysts and managers in the Reporting & Analytics department on tool design and architecture.

Job Summary and Qualifications

What you will do in this role:

  • Oversee the reporting elements related to hospital, clinical/quality, and operational programs

  • Architect and manage the development of tools to be used by clinicians and field personnel to monitor and improve processes around patient quality

  • You will work with the PSG leadership team on identifying and structuring reporting for financial, operational, and clinical/quality initiatives

  • Assist in building financial, operational, and clinical datasets and models to be integrated with other business units

  • Build statistical models, perform statistical testing, and develop protocols for all analysis and reporting programs related to reporting agenda

  • Develop processes with subject matter experts to determine return on investment for reporting programs, and explore cost reduction opportunities

  • Access data for analysis using enterprise intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, Essbase, MicroStrategy), internal and external data sources (e.g. BI, Teradata, Excel, Casemix, and Patient Accounting)

  • Prepare reports, narratives, visualizations, and presentations for PSG leadership

  • You will work with Analytics Programmers/Developers to automate reports, design datasets, and validate accuracy of reports

  • Document procedures for data pulls and data preparation for reporting Research / Data discovery

What you should have for this role:

  • Degree in Finance, Business Administration, MIS or other related field; Master’s Degree preferred

  • Five or more years relevant work experience

  • 1+ years of management / leadership experience, healthcare preferred

  • Six Sigma Green Belt preferred
