Job Summary:

As a Sales & Inventory Planner, you will be responsible for translating and maintaining financial projections to item level unit forecasts, ensuring adequate inventory while maximizing sell through’s. Your role involves analyzing sales trends in collaboration with merch and demand planners. Also, you will be responsible for vendor receipt planning and in-season management. You will play a crucial role in maximizing sales opportunities and improving inventory health through effective receipt planning.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with merch planners to gather market intelligence and work with demand planning to shape demand for various programs.

  • Leverage the consensus demand plan to arrive at the right receipt quantities across various programs.

  • Collaborate with demand planners to understand forecast accuracy. React to market trends and make necessary receipt adjustments to maximize sales and improve reliability.

  • Make informed inventory decisions in season to ensure overall inventory health.

  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to gather insights into upcoming promotions and product launches.

  • Generate regular reports and analysis on overall business performance.

  • Identify opportunities in unit planning and develop best in class processes inline with latest industry practices.

  • Process documentation of best practices.

  • Onboarding and training of new team members.

  • Custodian of business context for your respective businesses.

About You:

  • Master’s degree in Operations / Supply chain Management.

  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in Fast fashion, short life cycle categories.

  • Up to 2 years of experience in transitioning work to offshore locations is preferred.

  • Understanding of Supply chain planning as well as merchandising life cycle.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Proficiency in using inventory management software and advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.

  • Flexible, resilient and comfortable working in “grey areas” that are constantly changing.

  • Working knowledge with SQL for data extraction.
