Your search ends here!The Department of Transportation, Lehigh County Maintenance Office is currently seeking a Clerical Assistant 2 to fulfill the role of receptionist and offer support to clerical staff. DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this position, you will be involved in identifying the right individual, department, and approach to address different inquiries and ensuring timely delivery of written messages. It also includes sorting and distributing various types of correspondence based on document type and the relevant work unit's procedures. Additionally, you will be responsible for entering information into specific departmental systems like SAP, Employee Self Service, Interim Travel Advisory Database, Roadway Crash Reporting System, Customer Care Center, and Accident Tracking System.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment. Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. This position may require overtime, shift work, and travel. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (commonwealth title); or Graduation from high school; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements: You must be able to perform essential job functions. Preferred Qualifications (not required):

Two years of customer service experience dealing with inquiries from the general public. Six months of experience working with Microsoft Office projects.
